I understand some tiresome event called 'Christmas' is almost upon us. My local high street has turned into a shopping war zone, so it must be true.
The other day, in the midst of the non-stop scrum of rampant consumerism, I saw a young mother, whey-faced and scowling, buying up just about every kiddie toy in Poundland. I wonder what her child will think of that? First the good news, kid - you're getting lots of Christmas presents. Now the bad news - everything comes from the pound shop!
Christmas? Ghastly business all round, I say. I won't have it in the house. However, just to prove that I'm not a horrible old misanthrope, I hereby present you with my virtual Cristmas card.
Come raise your flagons of foaming ale, good people, and let us drink to festive cheer!

...and God help us, every one. |

Saying "bottoms" without actually presenting at least "a" bottom is misleading and unfair!!!
I'll rectify that a bit later with my 'Arse to New Year' post!
Nothing wrong with pound shops.. I was in PoundStretcher the other day thinking that if I could be 5 again, I'd buy up the entire shop!! :)
(They even had a lightsabre that lit up and made medieval swordfight noises.. how fucked up utterly cool is that?)

Hello Uncle,hello mister_ed (let's play with again!)!
It seems December 24th and 25th are very sad days for Japanese boys, they needs to: buy some shiny sliver or gold presents with diamonds for their girlfriends prepare some good expensive foods and cakes for them reserve some fantastic hotels to stay with(=this the most important thing!!!!!)
but if he gat a bad luck then: The girl friend says "Thank you so much such a wonderful night, but I need go back to my house from now,my parents waiting" and come back with the present.
....I am very lucky because I am not related to those people......
.... I love the Pound's land of UK, In the tour of the last year,at there,York's pound's land, I bought a big plastic picture (with a picture flame as well!!!) of Munch's Scream. it was wonderful! Now he still screams in my room!
